Update: North American Neuromodulation Society Meeting in NYC this weekend.
What a weekend in NYC! As a newly elected member of the Board of Directors for the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS), I’m still buzzing with excitement from our yearly strategic planning meeting. The energy in the room was palpable as we gathered to chart the course for the upcoming year.
It’s always a pleasure to reconnect with colleagues who share the same passion for advancing #PainMedicine and neuromodulation. The diversity of expertise around the table never ceases to amaze me – from pioneering researchers to skilled clinicians, each bringing unique insights to the table.
We delved into some fascinating discussions on #EmergingTechnologies and their potential impact on patient care. The rapid advancements in our field are both thrilling and challenging, pushing us to constantly evolve our approaches.
One of the highlights was brainstorming new educational initiatives. As someone deeply committed to patient advocacy and education, I’m particularly excited about the programs we’re developing to empower both patients and practitioners.
Of course, it wasn’t all work. The coffee breaks and dinners provided ample opportunity for catching up and forging new collaborations. There’s something special about the camaraderie in our field – perhaps it’s the shared mission of alleviating suffering that bonds us.
As I head back to Delaware, I’m reinvigorated and full of ideas. Here’s to another year of pushing boundaries in neuromodulation and pain management. The future looks bright, and I’m honored to be part of the Board of Directors who are shaping the future of NANS, and helping keep pain management specialists who join our society at the forefront of pain medicine.
