It is with great pleasure that we announce that Dr. Maryum Rafique is joining APICO Pain Managementâ„¢ in November.

Dr. Maryum Rafique is a double-boarded Interventional Pain and Spine Physician since 2014. Dr. Rafique combines compassion and expertise to maximize function and pain relief for her patients. Her main goal is to provide a multi-faceted approach to treat her patients by offering physical therapy, modalities, medications, and interventional therapies to regain function. Dr. Rafique graduated magna cum laude from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio majoring in Life Sciences/Biology. She then obtained her Masters of Arts in Biomedical Ethics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Rafique received her medical degree from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She then went on to do her traditional rotating internship at Christiana Hospital in Delaware. Her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency was completed at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her fellowship in Interventional Pain and Spine at Performance Spine and Sports in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

She is double-boarded in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as Pain Medicine. Dr. Rafique has published in various journals and has presented at the American Osteopathic Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation national conference. Dr. Rafique continues to expand her expertise by learning new interventional procedures to offer her patients. Dr. Rafique has been treating #ChronicPain patients in Delaware since 2014.
