Dr. Rafique earned her undergraduate degree in Combined Life Sciences from Youngstown State University, graduating cum laude. She then completed fellowship training in Interventional Pain and Spine Medicine at Performance Spine & Sports Medicine in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Rafique’s approach to pain management extends beyond simply reducing pain. Drawing on her background in physiatry and interventional pain medicine, she focuses on identifying the underlying causes of pain while helping patients restore function, improve mobility, and return to the activities that are meaningful to them. Her goal is to help each patient achieve meaningful, sustainable improvements in both comfort and quality of life.

She is trained in a wide range of interventional pain procedures, including epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, and other image-guided treatments for spine and musculoskeletal conditions.

Above all, Dr. Rafique believes that compassionate care is an essential part of medicine. She takes the time to listen to her patients, understand how pain affects their daily lives, and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their needs and goals. By combining evidence-based interventional treatments with the rehabilitative principles of physiatry, she strives not only to relieve pain, but to help her patients function better and live fuller lives.
