01The treatment

What Is It?

Neuromodulation can sometimes be used for severe, persistent headache or facial pain that has not responded to conventional treatment. Potential targets include the occipital nerves, trigeminal branches, or other peripheral nerve structures.

02How it works

How Can It Help?

Electrical stimulation is used to modify pain signaling in the targeted nerve pathway. Because headache and facial pain diagnoses vary considerably, the choice of target and device is individualized.
